Born in Madrid in 1991,

I took a brush in January 2020 for the first time, when I decided to go to an art school in the city centre. I had learned the basic techniques of watercolour for only 4 months -less time than I would have wanted- when the world suddenly changed and the face-to-face classes came to an end. I have loved arts and crafts since I can remember, especially when I have to make a gift for someone, because to me there is nothing more valuable than something unique and handmade. At the moment, I paint on my own as a way to escape reality and I am not focused on doing realistic paintings. I use to think that for capturing the reality we can use photography and that I can create -with my paintings- new realities, worlds that don't exist. Why copying when you can invent? I rather sometimes using unrealistic colours to express an emotion or to change how I feel through the therapy of painting. Watercolour is something really quick, unpredictable and uncontrollable at times. For all these reasons it is difficult to create the same piece twice: water, as nature itself, always wins. It teaches me both to let go and to stay present trying to guide its flow.
On this site you will find some of my favourite creations. This is only the beginning of my journey of self-discovery, exploration and enjoyment.
